Your uploaded reports stay in your account on apriltax servers hosted in India. We never share data with third parties, never train models on your filings, and the storage layer is ISO 27001 / SOC 2 aligned. Files stay local on your machine until you choose to upload to apriltax for validation. You can delete a period's data any time and it's gone.

Does apriltax file directly to the GST portal?

Today, apriltax prepares a fully validated GSTR JSON ready to upload via the GST portal's offline tool. You drop the JSON at gst.gov.in, hit submit, you're filed. The JSON conforms to the latest schema (DD-MM-YYYY dates, integer rates, v3 B2B / CDNR with pos / rchrg / inv_typ, reconciled HSN + Section-14 totals). Portal-direct auto-filing via the GSTN API is on the active roadmap.

What marketplaces are supported?

Amazon MTR (Sales + Returns), Flipkart Sales / GSTR, Meesho TCS + Invoice, plus your own Excel for non-marketplace B2B / B2C sales. Drop any combination - apriltax routes each file to the right marketplace and period automatically. Filing for a different platform? Click "request your platform" in the platforms strip above and we'll prioritise it.

What if my folder structure isn't standard?

April's walker is permissive - once it finds a matched client folder, it reads every file inside and lets the per-file period filter sort them. Whether your structure is /25-26/MAR-2026/ or /MAR/ or files directly under the client folder, it just works. Set the client's Folder Name once on the Dashboard and April finds it on every bulk run.

Is my data safe?

Files stay on your machine until you click Upload. Bulk upload uses the browser's drag-and-drop API - no external scrape, no third-party copy. Per-client uploads go directly to your own apriltax backend (your account, your storage). ISO 27001 / SOC 2 aligned, GSTN-ready, data local.

How many clients can I manage?

As many as you want. Each client's data is fully isolated by GSTIN - no leakage between firms or sellers. The bulk uploader runs at concurrency 6, so a 50-client batch typically finishes in under a minute on a normal broadband connection.

Do I still need a CA?
